State and Perspectives of the Center for Collective Use «Accelerated Mass Spectrometry» of the Institute of Applied Physics

Abstract: The paper discusses the development of the Center for collective use device «Accelerated Mass Spectrometry» IAP NASU. The results of the first experiments on the dating of some archaeological samples is presented. The main tasks aimed at further development of the Center are given.
Key words: accelerated mass spectrometry, center for collective use, carbon isotope 14C, archeology, radiochemistry.
