Perspective Methods of Dispersion Hardened of Copper-Based Alloys for Manufacturing Contact Welding Electrodes

Abstract: Hardening alloys by inclusions formed in a liquid state is considered. The method is based on using metal systems with the limited mutual solubility of components in a liquid state. Strengthening inclusions obtaining process is based on formation emulsion in melt and fixing of such structure of alloy in solid state. Two kinds of copper-based alloys are considered: alloys hardened by inclusions formed in a liquid state and dispersive hardening alloys in addition hardened by inclusions formed in a liquid state.
